The steps to order from Jiyu!

1. Fill out the form and receive a quote / preliminary call to discuss the design of your instrument.
2. A 10% deposit of the total amount will be required to secure your place in the queue.
3. A second payment (+/- 50%) will be requested to cover the cost of the parts ordered for your instrument.
4. The remaining balance + shipping fees will be requested upon delivery of the instrument.
5. You will be kept informed of the progress of your instrument’s design from start to finish!

Scale *

The scale length refers to the vibrating length of the string from the bridge to the nut. A shorter scale length results in a softer/warm sound and makes the guitar easier to play due to less string tension. A longer scale length produces a brighter/powerful sound with more attack. If you're unsure about which to choose, let's discuss it!

Wood and finish *

WOOD: I recommend alder for painted guitars, mahogany or ash for guitars with tops, and ash for natural finishes. FINISHES: stain or natural, or paint followed by gloss or matte varnish. Please detail your desired finish. I will get back to you to discuss a wood that will suit your preferences/design/finish.
